Between American Idol, The X Factor, The Voice and America's Got Talent, TV is full of singing competitions and heartwarming sob stories from contestants. But So You Think You Can Dance is in a class all its own.

As you may have heard, in honor of Tyra's shiny new Harvard diploma, cycle 19 of America's Next Top Model is going to college. And it's also going democratic. To an extent. Allegedly.

But I don't think they taught a Polling Systems course at that two-week rich-people sleepaway camp that Tyra's been calling her Harvard "business school" experience, because the new online voting system for cycle 19 seems to make absolutely no sense, and it's hard to see how the "votes" can have any impact on the way the show plays out -- unless Tyra and her producers entirely change, and potentially ruin, the way their show plays out.

And seeing that the show is in its 19th cycle, and that the CW has already moved Top Model to Fridays in the fall -- the network's version of putting a show in hospice -- it seems a bit late to completely upend the entire system. (Then again, Tyra already got rid of the heart and soul of ANTM, so why not break its legs and reverse its spine as well?)

Here's how the new voting system, which went operational today, claims to work:

The 30 sexiest men of summer television.
For a long time, there was one major singing competition show: American Idol. Then last summer, NBC's The Voice joined the U.S. screen with relative success and later in the fall, Idol's Simon Cowell attempted to bring his British franchise The X Factor stateside. This year Idol and The Voice went head to head, inspiring comparisons and an inevitable rivalry for the top spot in the reality singing genre. With ABC joining the popular category with its new show Duets (premiering tonight) and Cowell rebooting X Factor with new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato for its second season, the competition amongst the competition shows is getting heated - and the new judges on the block aren't afraid to defend their latest crop of shows.

Time waits for no man ... even if he puts an allegedly everlasting wish in the Love Clock.

That's the lesson we would have taken away from The Bachelorette if we were Joe Gendreau, the unsuspecting gentleman who got the heave-ho from Emily Maynard on Monday's episode, after accompanying her on what he probably thought was a perfectly lovely first date to the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia. They rode in a private jet! They swam! They shared their deepest wishes with the ancient, all-knowing Love Clock!

But it was all for naught, as Emily revealed that she and Joe weren't meant to be, denying him the rose and his wish in one fell swoop. Sorry, Joe. Maybe next time?

Joe spoke with the media in a conference call yesterday, and didn't sound too broken up about that unfulfilled wish. Here are some of the highlights from his call:

Jane Krakowski has some advice for your next night out on the town. The star of 30 Rock and Ally McBeal recently sat down with me to talk about her favorite nights out - and how to improve yours.
Ten years ago a little show called Alias ended its first season with a shocking cliffhanger. After dealing with a mysterious Big Bad simply referred to as "the Man" all season long, Sydney Bristow finally came face-to-face with her foe, only to utter that now classic final line: "Mom?"

It's time for the weekly poll for all you Criminal Minds fans! In keeping with our Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) theme, I thought we would pick our favorite Prentiss relationship and discuss what made said relationship so interesting.

In this week's Real Housewives roundup, Kim has a fire scare, NeNe dispels rumors, a Housewives house is for sale and Bravo has a new summer ad.

With the Pretty Little Liars season 3 premiere just couple weeks away it looks like "A" is up to her old tricks again. This time, "A" is sending fans on a puzzle hunt. Solve the puzzle and you'll unlock an exclusive clip from the premiere.

Since you're here, you have found a "Pretty Little Puzzle Hunt" piece--put these pieces together to solve the riddle, earning you a special password to watch an exclusive sneak peek clip on ABC Family of the Pretty Little Liars June 5 premiere.

Wednesday night's American Idol finale had its fair share of guest performers. Aerosmith, Chaka Khan and John Fogerty all visited the show - and stopped by afterward to talk with me.

The finale of American Idol season 11 was full of special performances from the Top 12 as well as a few of the judges and other musical guests. Here are my rankings for the best and worst numbers from the final results show.
It's official: Phillip Phillips is your next American Idol. Here's what he, runner-up Jessica Sanchez, and music producer Jimmy Iovine had to say after the results were announced...

American Idol welcomed back some familiar faces for the season 11 finale, including Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams from season 10. Here's what Haley, Casey and more had to say before the show's big finish.

This week on Revenge, will this be the moment we've all been waiting for? Will Emily get her revenge, or will she be too busy trying to help Nolan?

Hundreds of performances later, it has all come down to this. Season 11 of American Idol will crown a winner tonight, after two hours of complete, star-studded nonsense. It is so evident to me that Phillip Phillips will win, that I have decided to view the entire finale episode as a party for him. Nigel Lythgoe's desperate bid to keep Phillip Phillips happy. See this? It's all for you, Phillip!

Phillip had the far superior Winner's Song, and therefor a better lasting impression on the voters. As though people didn't know who they were going to vote for before they watched the final performance episode! But maybe it swayed some people to vote who might not have voted for anyone otherwise. I know I certainly fell under the spell! So now we sit back and relax as our fallen heroes perform for us one last time this season, then see if Jessica Sanchez can maintain composure.

Can Harvey and Mike keep their secret for another season? Check out these photos from "She Knows," the Suits season 2 premiere (Thursday, June 14 at 10pm on USA).
The ninth season of So You Think You Can Dance will be unlike any season before. That's mostly because FOX cut the show down so it will only air once a week and there will be two winners: one male and one female.

It's only been a few days since Arsenio Hall was crowned the winner of The Celebrity Apprentice, but there's already buzz about a possible new talk show in the works for the comedian.

The Duets premiere is finally here! For a sneak peek at ABC's new singing competition, look through photos from the series premiere, where John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke will each perform with their two duets partners (for a look at the eight contestants, click here). Then catch the premiere on Thursday at 8pm on ABC.
Meet the seven women and 14 men searching for "the one" on NBC's adventure-dating series Love in the Wild, premiering Thursday, June 7 from 8 to 10pm. The show hosted this season by Jenny McCarthy, gets even wilder in its special two-hour premiere, by bringing in seven additional men to pair up with the original couples to kick off the adventures as trios.
This week America's Got Talent sought out The Big Apple for the best talent. While there was the usual assortment of mediocre dance groups, singers and generic performers, there were a few acts that stood out - either because the talent was of such a high caliber or the uniqueness of the act (or both). Amongst acts like a 21st century ventriloquist and a guy brutally, repeatedly smacked in the nuts, here are some of this week's standout talents.

Many bad people have felt the wrath of Emily Thorne throughout Revenge season 1. But some have suffered more thoroughly than others. In this slideshow, we assign a grade to each of Emily's acts of vengeance.
Predicting American Idol this season has been nearly impossible. Jessica Sanchez almost went home during the Top 7 and now she's in the finale. Colton Dixon and Skylar Laine left the competition before Hollie Cavanagh. And despite being the judges' overall favorite, Joshua Ledet couldn't even make it to the end.

Dancing with the Stars season 14 has found its new Mirror Ball champions -- Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd. So what contributed to this win? Here are 5 reasons.
